Account Deletion

How to remove UnSently from your Google account

If you signed in with “Continue with Google”, you can disconnect UnSently from your Google account at any time.

Steps:

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com and make sure you’re signed into the correct Google account.

  2. Click Security in the left-hand menu.

  3. Scroll down to “Third-party access” or “Signing in with Google” and click Manage access.

  4. Find UnSently in the list of apps.

  5. Click on UnSently, then click Remove access (or Revoke access / Disconnect).

  6. Confirm when Google asks if you’re sure.

This removes UnSently’s ability to access your Google profile data and stops future login with that Google account (unless you reconnect it again later).

How to remove UnSently from your Facebook account

If you used “Continue with Facebook”, you can disconnect UnSently from your Facebook profile.

Steps (on Facebook):

  1. Log in to Facebook and click your profile icon (top-right).

  2. Go to Settings & privacy → Settings.

  3. In the left sidebar, look for “Apps and websites” or “Logged in with Facebook”.

  4. Find UnSently in the list of active apps.

  5. Click Remove (or the three dots → Remove).

  6. Confirm that you want to remove UnSently’s access.

This disconnects UnSently from your Facebook account and stops future login with that Facebook profile (unless you reconnect it).

How to delete your UnSently account

If you want to delete your UnSently account completely, you can do that yourself.

  1. Go to the settings page in your account.

  2. Go to the bottom and click Advanced Settings. Click Delete Account, confirm you want to delete your account.

  3. Once confirmed, your account will be placed into deletion and the process will begin right away.

If you can’t log in or need help, you can contact us directly and we will assist with the deletion request.

What happens when you delete your UnSently account?

When you delete your account:

  1. Your profile is removed

    • Your name, email, profile picture, and any other personally identifying information are removed or detached from your account.

    • Your login access is disabled, and you will no longer be able to sign in.

  2. Your account becomes anonymous

    • Any content that must remain for system integrity (for example, letters, comments, or likes that are part of public conversations) will no longer be linked to your identity.

    • Where technically possible, these items are converted to an anonymous user so they are no longer tied to your real name, email, or profile.

  3. Connected logins are cut off

    • Any connection between your UnSently account and Google or Facebook is removed on our end.

    • We still recommend you also remove UnSently from your Google and Facebook accounts directly using the steps above, so everything is completely disconnected on both sides.

  4. Data we may keep (for legal and security reasons)

    • We may retain minimal, non-identifying technical logs (for example: date of deletion, internal IDs, or security-related logs) where required for legal, security, or anti-abuse purposes.

    • These records are not used to identify you or contact you and are kept only as long as necessary.

Important notes

  • If you delete your account, we cannot restore it. You would need to create a new account if you decide to come back.

  • If you simply want to log out or disconnect Google/Facebook without deleting your UnSently account, you can do that as well—deletion is not required.
